Mayo Flynt is the president of AT&T Mississippi, a position he has held since January 2007. As president, Mayo is directly responsible for AT&T's operations in Mississippi, including external affairs, regulatory affairs and public policy. In 2018, Mayo was also named as the president of AT&T Southern States, providing oversight for additional states in the region, including Alabama, Tennessee and South Carolina.
Prior to these appointments, Mayo held a series of positions within AT&T of increasing responsibility for regulatory and legislative affairs on the state and federal levels, as well as internationally.
He is a past chairman of the Mississippi Economic Council, the Mississippi Partnership for Economic Development, Innovate Mississippi, the Mississippi Museum of Art, and the Greater Jackson Chamber Partnership, where he currently chairs the Lake Development Task Force. He is also a member of the Jackson Rotary Club.
Mayo is a graduate of the University of Mississippi. He and his wife, Renee, have two daughters, Sarah Kathryn and Olivia.
